Crew chat

Crew chat is the conversation for the whole crew. Everyone in the crew can read it, across every trip idea.

Crew chat or trip chat?

• Crew chat: everyone in the crew, all the time. Open it from the chat bubble in the corner, or the Chat tab on the crew page.
• Trip chat: only the people on that one trip. Open it from the trip menu under Trip chat.

If a message only matters to one trip, send it in trip chat. People who are not on that trip never see it.

What you can do

• Live updates and typing indicators.
• Emoji reactions on any message.
• Image uploads.
• Unread badges on the crew list and the notification bell.
• Optional push notifications on your phone. See Notifications.

Good habits

• Keep decisions about one trip in that trip's chat.
• A reaction is often the quickest way to settle a question.
