Group Chat

Every group has a persistent chat, and every trip idea has its own thread.

What's where

• Crew messages — general discussion for the whole group.
• Trip idea chat — pinned to a specific trip idea. Use this so per-trip decisions don't clutter the main chat.

Features

• Realtime updates and typing indicators.
• Emoji reactions on any message.
• Image uploads.
• Unread badges on the sidebar and notification bell.
• Optional push notifications on mobile (see Notifications).

Etiquette

• Use trip idea threads for anything specific to that trip.
• Reactions are the fastest way to close a poll ("👍 = I'm in").
