Travel documents (private to you)

Your passport, visas, vaccination records and personal insurance live in your profile, not on a trip.

Adding one

1. 1Open Profile, then Travel documents, then Add.
2. 2Pick a type: passport, visa, insurance or other.
3. 3Upload a photo or a PDF.
4. 4Set the expiry date if it has one.

Who else can see them

Nobody. Travel documents are private to you. Other travellers and organisers cannot open them, and cannot see their details or expiry dates.

Expiry reminders

BucketBuddy reminds you when one of your documents expires close to a confirmed trip. The reminder is for you only.

Booking paperwork goes elsewhere

Tickets, hotel confirmations and vouchers belong on the trip, where the people travelling with you can open them. See Documents on a trip.
