Analysing a document with AI

Analyse with AI reads a booking document and fills in the details for you. It is a Pro feature and uses AI credits.

Running it

1. 1Open the document, or the itinerary entry it is attached to.
2. 2Press Analyse with AI.
3. 3Review what came back.

What it looks for

Dates and times, provider or venue, the confirmation or reference number, and the amount paid.

Reviewing before it saves

Nothing is saved until you confirm. The review step shows each field it found so you can correct anything — a misread time or a currency worth checking — and add what it missed.

Turning it into an itinerary entry

From the review step you can create the itinerary entry, or prefill the entry you started from, and the document stays attached to it.

When it spots a payment

If the document shows an amount paid, BucketBuddy offers to create an expense for it so the money lands in Money without retyping. You choose who paid and how it splits, or skip it.

If it gets it wrong

Photos of crumpled paper and screenshots of screenshots are hard to read. Correct the fields by hand, or attach a clearer copy and run it again. Correcting by hand costs nothing.
