Tasks and who is doing them

Action Items
Divide and conquer — assign tasks so nothing falls through the cracks.
Adding a task
- 1Open the trip idea → Action items.
- 2Type the task and pick an assignee (or leave unassigned).
- 3Optionally set a due date and priority.
- 4Hit +.
Suggest with AI (Pro)
Click Suggest with AI at the top of the Action Items card. BucketBuddy reads the trip's destination, dates, planned activities, insights and existing tasks and drafts a tailored list — things like "Book airport transfer", "Check visa requirements" or "Confirm dietary preferences with the crew".
- Tasks come pre-grouped by category (Booking, Documents, Logistics, Money, Research…).
- Each task has a suggested priority (high / normal / low) and a one-line reason.
- Untick anything you don't want, hit Add selected, then assign owners.
- Anything already on your list is skipped automatically.
Available on the Pro plan — the person clicking pays, the whole group benefits.
Filters
Tasks default to Mine so the list stays focused. Use the chip row to switch:
- All — every task on this trip.
- Mine — assigned to you.
- Unassigned — pick up something ownerless.
- [Member name] — see what someone else is on.
Each chip shows a live count of open tasks in that filter.
Priority, due dates & comments
- Each row has a coloured dot (red = high, amber = normal, grey = low) — change it inline from the flag dropdown.
- Set or update a due date directly on the row. Overdue tasks turn red; due-in-48h go amber.
- Click Comment to open an inline thread with the rest of the crew.
Hide / show completed
Completed tasks are hidden by default. Toggle Show completed at the top-right to see history. Only the person who created a task can delete it.
