One shared checklist for the trip. Each item shows a quantity and a category (Clothes, Toiletries, Documents, Gear, Electronics, Medical, Other) so it's easy to scan.

Adding items

1. 1Open the trip idea → Packing list.
2. 2Type an item, pick a category, set the quantity, hit Add.
3. 3Tick items off as you pack — progress updates for the whole group.

Suggest with AI (Pro)

Click Suggest with AI and BucketBuddy drafts a packing list tailored to:

• Destination, dates and season / weather insights
• Planned activities (e.g. hiking boots for treks, swimwear for beach days)
• Trip length (more T-shirts for a 14-day trip)
• Traveller count and existing items (nothing is duplicated)

Pick the items you want and hit Add selected. Available on the Pro plan.

Filters

• Filter by category using the chips.
• Toggle Hide packed once you're mid-trip so only the outstanding items show.
