Check-ins on the Map

Check-ins are plotted on both the trip map and the public share map.

On the trip map, turn on the "Check-ins" layer to see amber pins for every check-in. The pins respect the day filter, so choosing a single day shows only that day's stops.

If a check-in has a picture, the pin shows a small circular thumbnail. Clicking a pin opens a popup with the photo, the title, the place and time, your note, and a "Get directions" link.

On the shared visitor link, public check-ins appear as pins joined by a faint trail in time order, so followers can see the route travelled so far. The map zooms to fit the check-ins automatically.
