Trip map

Every place tied to the trip on one map: the destination, your planned stops, hotels and airports from booking documents, check-ins and photos taken with a location.

What you see

• Pins for the destination, each stop with a place, venues from booking documents, and photos that carry a location.
• Day filter: Pick a day to see only that day's stops. All days shows everything, each day in its own colour.
• Route lines: With one day selected, the stops are joined in order with an estimated distance and travel time.
• Tap a pin for the name, the day and time, the address, and a link to open it in Google Maps.

Adding a place from the map

1. 1Pick a day using the chips at the top.
2. 2Tap the map where you want the new stop.
3. 3BucketBuddy finds the address for that point, then you give it a title and a time and save. It is added to that day.

Where places come from

• Your stops: The location field when you add or edit an activity. It suggests places as you type and saves the exact spot.
• Bookings: Reading a booking document with AI picks up the venue and puts it on the map.
• Photos: Some phone photos carry the place they were taken. Screenshots and edited photos usually do not, which is normal.
• The destination: Saved with the trip.

Older trips

Older entries may have no place saved. Use Locate stops on the map to fill in the ones that only have text.

Switch on the check-ins layer to see where you have actually been. See Check-ins on the map.
