Guided walkthroughs

Being shown instead of told

A walkthrough points at the real buttons on the page you are on and explains them in a couple of lines. There is one for each main screen.

When they appear

BucketBuddy offers a walkthrough the first time a screen is genuinely new to you. Nothing starts automatically while you are in the middle of something, and dismissing an offer keeps it dismissed.

Starting one yourself

Open Help and pick any walkthrough under Guided walkthroughs. You will be taken to the right screen and it begins there. If a walkthrough needs a trip or a crew you do not have yet, Help will say so rather than sending you nowhere.

While it runs

• Next and Back move through the steps.
• Esc or Skip ends it.
• Arrow keys work too, and each step is read out for screen readers.

Solo trips

Walkthroughs skip steps that cannot apply to you. A solo trip will not be shown crew messages or voting.
