Getting started

The five parts of a trip

Why five

Everything about a trip lives in one of five places, so there is only ever one sensible place to look.

Overview

Your starting point. It shows the stage the trip is in, what still needs doing, and a shortcut straight to it. When you are away, it shows today.

Plan

Dates, the day-by-day itinerary, places to eat and see, the map, and the destination guide. If it answers what are we doing and when, it is here.

Organise

Tasks, documents, links, packing. If it answers what needs sorting before we go, it is here.

Money

Add expenses, see what you paid, what you owe or are owed, and use Settle Up to square things away.

Memories

Photos, followers and the guestbook, and the trip summary you keep afterwards.

Getting between them

On a phone the five sit along the bottom of the trip. On a larger screen they run across the top. The trip remembers where you were, so coming back drops you in the same place.
